Carved Oak Flemish Hunters Cabinet with Grandiose Baroque/ Gothic Style Carvings

A grandiose carved oak Flemish hunters cabinet in a baroque/ gothic revival style from the late 19th century, around the 1870s. The upper carved cornice features serpentine eagles, a north winds/ green man central piece and is flanked by winged cherub corbels all above 2 deep carved doors depicting village tavern scenes. The raised upper cornice is supported by a rear fielded panel and 2 carved lions holding shields crested with "C4" at the front. The lower cabinet boasts 2 upper drawers centered and flanked by greenman carvings that sit above the 2 larger cupboard doors that are also deep carved depicting village tavern scenes. On the top and bottom sections there are end columns adorned by carved figural busts of soldiers, and the whole show stopping piece is finished off with rear bracket feet and front bun feet.
