Early Victorian European Welsh Dresser
A European Welsh dresser made of cherry and dating from about the 1850s. This piece features a scalloped front cornice with carving anchored by reverse finials, and peg joinery. The upper section has three open plate shelves, where the lower cabinet has two drawers and two doors with recessed panels, pierced metal hardware, and a floral carved lower front rail.
