Carved Walnut Weather Clock w/ Foliate Carvings and Porcelain Number Cartouche & Dual Reaumur Scale Thermometers (As Is)

A finely carved walnut time and weather clock from the 1880s.. This amazing show stopper has a solid pediment, foliate carvings and 2 freestanding reeded columns with Ionic capitals. The clock itself is a beautifully carved wood face boasting white porcelain cartouche number plates with black Roman numerals, and ornate delicate minute & hour hands. At the bottom of this stunning piece we find dual centigrade Reaumur Scale thermometers with matching white porcelain backing plates, while unfortunately one tube has experienced a break in the coil this will still surely be the talk of the town in any space it lives.
